Antoine Ouellette has found his home region again recently. Originally from Drummond (NB), he spent much of his life in Paris (France) as an antique dealer. He founded a family and discovered a passion: oil painting. From 2003, he learned the techniques of the Grand Masters at the Atelier Judith Gratz (Paris) and then researched and developed his own style: to create a contemporary approach to the theme of landscape. From 2011, he continues his exhibitions in Paris: the open days of the workshops of Belleville, the Gallery “The Eye of the Eight”, “The Bottega of the Painter”, the gallery Duhesme, the European Academy of Arts (he wins 1st prize of painting)… It is in a context of classical music that he lets himself be dragged into the improvisation of his creations. He then puts in scene a panoramic vision and against-diving of the atmospheric state mixing air / water / ground. Always approaching the abstraction, it is with quick and accurate gesture, with the knife to paint, that places it in the performance “of the alive”.
